Posted Wednesday, July 31st 2013 @ 11am  by Talk Radio 105.7 FM / 570 AM

A Vernal man faces up to 15 years in prison, for pointing a rifle at a sheriff's deputy and then riddling his patrol car with 19 bullets.

The crime occurred in March 2012 -- and Dallas Rowley, 67, pleaded guilty this week.

A 2-day manhunt -- in the Book Cliffs -- resulted in his arrest.

Rowley will be sentenced in September.
