Posted Monday, February 10th 2014 @ 12pm  by Talk Radio 105.7 FM / 570 AM

TWO DIFFERENT FAMILIES FACE THE GRIM TASK OF PLANNING UNEXPECTED FUNERALS THIS WEEK, AFTER A MAN AND A WOMAN WERE KILLED IN SEPARATE, WEEKEND AVALANCHES.

THE FIRST SNOWSLIDE, PUSHED A 21-YEAR-OLD BYU STUDENT INTO A CREEK -- IN AMERICAN FORK CANYON -- WHILE SHE WAS SNOWSHOEING.

ASHLEIGH COX, FROM COLORADO, INITIALLY SURVIVED THE AVALANCHE...BUT WAS LATER PRONOUNCED DEAD, AFTER BEING TAKEN OFF LIFE SUPPORT.

THE SECOND SNOWSLIDE -- NEAR HUNTINGTON RESERVOIR, IN SAN PETE COUNTY -- KILLED CLINT CONOVER, OF FERRON, WHEN HE WAS SWEPT UNDER ABOUT EIGHT FEET OF SNOW.

HIS THREE SNOWMOBILING COMPANIONS DUG HIM OUT...AND BEGIN C-P-R...BUT HE DIED AT THE SCENE.

CONOVER LEAVES A WIFE AND FIVE CHILDREN.
