UNCLE SAM HAS SIDED WITH BIRDS -- OVER MINING INTERESTS -- IN OUR STATE.

THE FEDS HAVE ISSUED A MORATORIUM -- BLOCKING OIL, GAS AND COAL LEASES, ON 800-THOUSAND ACRES, IN EASTERN UTAH -- WHICH IS HABITAT FOR THE IMPERILED 'GUNNISON SAGE GROUSE.'
