Weber County Mobile Home Park Evacuated

THE EVERGREEN MOBILE HOME PARK -- IN WEBER COUNTY, ADJACENT TO HIGHWAY 89, IN PLEASANT VIEW -- WAS EVACUATED THURSDAY MORNING, AFTER A RESIDENT REPORTED FINDING A BOTTLE OF WHAT HE BELIEVES TO BE NITROGLYCERIN, WHILE CLEANING A SHED.

NORTH VIEW FIRE DISTRICT CHIEF DAVID WADE SAID, RESIDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BACK INTO THEIR HOMES, UNTIL INSPECTORS DETERMINE EXACTLY WHAT THE SUBSTANCE IS.

AUTHORITIES SAY THE UNIDENTIFIED SUBSTANCE IS IN A SINGLE, ONE-LITER BOTTLE.

THERE HAVE BEEN NO INJURIES.

OFFICIALS SAY MOST PEOPLE WERE OUT OF THEIR HOMES WHEN THE EVACUATION ORDER WAS GIVEN.
