I love finding photos like this. Every so often my grandmother will send me a photo book that the county or city has recently produced. As I was flipping through it, I came across this gem of my great-grandmother Alice and her family.
This photo just proves that no matter how hard life is (or was), it's always wise to take a break and reflect on those that have given their all for our independence and those that continue to strive to keep us that way. And it's nice to be able to go to a parade every so often!
